The Minister of Praise Anthony Douglas & Zeal Minister Anthony Douglas is a very gifted and anointed young man that has defied all odds, Since the tender age of 22. The Minister of Praise has been evangelizing and proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ in preaching and teaching the Word of God through the ministry of music. By defying all odds as a young man, he understood he had a purpose in life. On August 28th 1994 being obedient to the Spirit of God, he began a new walk with the Lord as an Evangelist proclaiming the Word of God.
On March 15th, 2001, Anthony Douglas Ministries was birthed; and with dedication, determination, trial and era, God would bless him with the ministry of music and from out of the ashes would come the name Zeal which means in reference to religion, to have exuberance and excitement for life, Zealous also is the equivalent to Zeal having a passion for something greater than ones self, Zeal who varies in age yet loves God with such conviction and zealousness for the Lord.
I have gone through many different ups and downs for the greater good of ministry. It is here were the spirit of the Lord came to me saying; "Out of the mouth of babes and nursing infants you have perfected praise. Anthony Quotes: God gave me a gift to share with the world and my prayer is that the people of God be inspired by my obedience to Him. For I realize that I'm nothing without the Lord in my life, and only through Him shall I be great. And through my submission to God, He would appoint me” The Minister of Praise” because He has anointed me with the spirit of praise and worship.
My vision is to see young people saved and serving God whole heartily, to generate growth, expansion and soul winning to the Kingdom of God. This ministry of praise and worship has set a standard for our youth, preaching love, joy, peace and happiness through urban sounds of high-energy praise and worship. The Minister of Praise has went on to win numerous awards, which include: the 2005 Spirit of Excellence Awards (artist of the year) and the 2006 Out Standing Community Service Awards and many different independent awards.
The Minister of Praise has shared the stage with such artist as: Fantasia Barrino, Troy Sneed and The Renaissance Choir, The Brooklyn All Stars, Paul Porter Of The Christianairs, Luther Barns and The Sunset Jubilaires, The late Slim & The Supreme Angles, Bo Pete & Good News, Lee Williams & The Spirituals QC's, Mitchell Goldsmith And Soul-Out, Stephen L. Williams & Favour, The Gate Keeperz, Bishop John Heath, The Anointed Jackson Sisters, Jessie O'Banner and Jobs Company, The McDonald Sisters, Ronica and the Mighty Blazing Stars, just to name a few.
