Carolyn Odom, fondly known as, “Nesia”, is a fresh and dynamic voice to the gospel arena.  She offers a refreshing sound in gospel music, both traditional and contemporary. 

Nesia's vocal experience began at the early age of five, singing with, the Sunshine Band and moving on to the Junior Choir of her local church.  As an accomplished alto/soprano, she has sung with various artists.  She recently performed with gospel recording artist, Minister James Bignon.  She was also nominated as, Best Female Vocalist for the Atlanta Gospel Choice Award.  To her credit, she has also performed at the Dorinda Clark-Cole Artists Showcase, & the John P. Kee New Artists Showcase.

Nesia has also appeared on, The Atlanta Live Show, (WATC TV 57), WVPB'S “Bridging the Gap”, The Bobby Hurd Show, Victorious Praise's, “Praise in the Park, 2003”, just to name a few.  She has also been in workshops and participated on programs with, Shirley Caesar, Vicki Winans, Norman Hutchins, Chester D.T. Baldwin, Minister James Bignon, & Babbie Mason just to name a few. 

Nesia released her first CD, entitled, “I Exalt Thee” on August 23, 2003, and her second CD, entitled, “Safe In Thee”, in June 2007.

Carolyn “Nesia” Odom is dedicated to do God's will and touch lives by spreading the gospel through song and music.
